Boulder Dinner Theater

What a fun evening! Footloose The Musical, began with dinner. the actors are the servers and a fresh salad was what we were served first. For the entrĂ©e, two of us ordered the Potato Crusted Haddock and two ordered the Cordon Bleu Chicken. We were not disappointed because everything was presented in an attractive way and it tasted good. The Chef remarks that, "The food should reflect all the senses; sight, sound, smell and taste."

I don't believe there is a bad seat in the theater and the audience is fairly close to the stage on three sides. The musical began with lots of singing and dancing. It is a story about how teens try to have dancing reinstated in the town of Bomont. Along with the singing and dancing there are lots of misunderstandings, angry voices, sadness, humor, love, tender moments and joy. Who could ask for anything more?

Costumes were sparkly and colorful. Voices and dance steps fun. Acting believable. What a wonderful evening spending time with friends and enjoying the play.
