A fun Shoulda Been a North Pole Elf by many elves in stripped stockings and green caps took the show to intermission.
The lobby was filled with Christmas goody sales, hot cider, cookies and Nativity scenes that people could enjoy. After about a fifteen minute break, we returned to our seats to hear White Christmas with Al and Jean Beckel on the hand chimes. I'll be Home For Christmas brought tears to my eyes but the tears were soon forgotten with Winter Song, Please Come Home for Christmas and the
hilarious An Elvis Christmas. Every shape of an Elvis impersonator danced on stage.
The act was followed by Gotta Whisper, Gotta Shout! One of my favorites was Last Month of the Year (What Month Was Jesus Born In?) by Andrea Maldonado with a tremendous voice and rhythm. It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas, Silent Night, and sing a long to Christmas Carols ended the fantastic show.
We all walked out of the auditorium feeling like the Christmas season had finally started and with a lightness to our step after all the wonderful tunes.
Merry Christmas
It was truly a Merry time!
