How long do plants continue to grow without any water or food? About twenty years ago, a friend decided to plant over 200 crocus blubs in a plot near my front door. He also planted about thirty other bulbs and every year the area would be covered with colorful flowers. The flowers slowly diminished until this year I saw about four crocuses. About a week ago I saw three green plants with some buds coming up among the weeds. This morning those bulbs had bloomed. Which makes me wonder how long will those flowers, planted so long ago, continue to bloom? Will they keep blooming forever?
"Every flower is a soul
blossoming in nature."
